A recent article from the Benton Institute for Broadband and Society provides an update on several statewide efforts led by the Kūpuna Collective, a health-centered coalition that brings together a network of partners across the state of Hawai’i to address and highlight critical issues for aging individuals in Hawai’i.
Among them, is a project Pear Suite has been involved with for the past two years, training and deploying tech-enabled, multilingual digital navigators across the Hawai’i State Library System who meet with community members, largely older adults, to provide digital literacy support and address other social drivers of health, such as food security and access.
